Come join us for the First Friday Dance held every first Friday of the month at the beautifully decorated Sandunga Dance Studio. We will provide a group lesson in the front fourier a little after 9PM.
Dance music consisting of Latin, Ballroom, Swing and Salsa will begin in the main ballroom a little after 9PM for those not participating in the lesson. Whether you come for the lesson and/or the dancing $10 gets you in the door for both. You can purchase tickets in advance for $8 here.
This is a great practice dance for beginners because a variety of tempos will be played for the different social dances such as Rumba, Fox Trot, Salsa and the various Swing dances. So if, for example you find it hard to dance to those really fast Salsa tempos played in the clubs you will discover slower salsa tempos condusive to those just learning the basic patterns and timing.
